Onwords and Upwords – Introductory

Onwords and Upwords Introductory is designed for use by children in Senior Infants as they continue to develop phonemic awareness and motor skills.

The children are encouraged to focus on a sound and then to explore that sound in the activities that follow. These activities are also structured to hone reasoning and handwriting skills.

Story contexts in the book are based on the child’s own experiences as is the case with subsequent story-telling activities.
